RECIPE: Ginger Smoothie

Note: Bananas increase Kapha in all doshas so are to be eaten not at all or in moderation by Kapha due to their heavy, wet and sweet nature.

Whip up this nutrition-packed smoothie for an on-the-go breakfast, meal-in-a-glass, or satisfying snack.

Serves: 2

INGREDIENTS
1 banana
2 teaspoons freshly grated ginger
1 cup orange juice (I use freshly squeezed juice)
2 tablespoons honey
1 cup ice (omit for Kapha)

Combine all ingredients in a blender; blend until smooth.
